Honestly, I believe I could get into snowboarding after making fist steps just because of his work with me: my progress was visible and it boosted my motivation. The last season we had together was devoted to free riding and I stand by my above said, with one small addition: he’s not only the greatest teacher, but also an amazing guide. I was a beginner who can ride only on back edge and who needs a special approach because... read more I'm a bit slow in learning sports. Instructor checked what I had at that moment and than explained my mistakes and gave exercises that improve my skills. I was suprised of myself because on the first training I could ride on the front edge and almost make turns! I kept learning with WinterGudauri next two days and after that I confidently rode and made turns. And the most important that I finally started to feel the joy of snowboarding and now I look forward the next trip to do it again. Visited Gudauri in begining of March 2022 and we (I and my wife) contacted Wintergudauri school for assistance in snowboarding as it was first time for my wife and second... read more for me. We had Sasha like snb instructor. Sasha is really good at what he does, he knows all the practice tricks beginner needs to do and he can explain and show them properly. All in all, we ended up practicing with Sasha for 2,5 hours two days in a row and later did the drills which Sasha gave us and soon enough I upgraded my skills and my wife was going properly down the slopes. So thanks to Wintergudauri again and I can recommend this school for anyone who want to learn snowboarding properly.

Моя порада: якщо ви вперше збираєтесь спробувати сноуборд, то ні в якому разі не робіть це без інструктора. А краще робити це в цій школі, бо про це ви точно... read more не пошкодуєте 😉 Про сноуборд я знав тільки те, як він виглядає. Але після пари занять з Сашою вже самостійно спускався не зі схилу для «beginners», а з повноцінної траси 😅 Дуже сподобався індивідуальний підхід та корегування помилок, щоб вдосконалювати техніку. Не достатньо просто стояти на сноубордіоб. Для того, щоб отримувати максимальне задоволення, треба робити це правильно. Доречі, не менш важливий етап - це вміти правильно падати, чому нас також навчили. Тож це дуже допомогло відкатати усі дні без травм 😄 В цілому хочу сказати, що я задоволенний на 100% рішенням займатися саме в WinterGudauri. І обов’язково хочу продовжити вдосконалювати свої навички з вами 😉 А за українську мову окремий респект 🤘

Alex is a good trainer

Excellent Instructors. Great patience and great at what they do. Our family went to Gudauri in March/April of this year for spring break with the... read more kids. In order for the family to enjoy the skiing more I wanted them to take ski/snow board lessons as I knew I would not be able to teach them...and they wouldn't listen. I found Winter Gudauri online and booked snowboard lessons for my son (14yoa) and ski lessons for my daughter (11yoa). Alex was the snowboard instructor and Maxx was the ski instructor. They both communicated very well with us several times before our arrival to make sure we knew where to meet and had everything we needed. When we met Alex and Maxx they were both very professional and ready to get going with the kids. They were always on time and ready to go and adjusted to our schedule if we needed. They spent three days of lessons with Alex and Maxx and both of them really enjoyed the lessons. Alex was great. My son loved the lessons and they had great conversations about snow boarding. By the end of the third day my son was doing turns down the mountain and was really excited about snowboarding and coming back next year. Hopefully Alex will be there to continue more lessons. My son would love to do some free riding. Maxx was also very patient with my 11 year old daughter, even when she became very frustrated with her abilities. However, by the end of the third day, she was doing super and flying down the mountain :). She loves skiing now and cant wait to go again next year. We look forward to seeing Alex and Maxx in Gudauri next March. I would highly recommend Alex and Maxx for lessons. Because of their instruction our kids are super excited about the sport. Great job guys.

Also... read more very patient with our teenager kids. In the course we learned everything about safety on the board and how to make first moves step by step. When one of us was afraid, he was always there to support us. We highly recommend his courses.

I took two lessons of two days for snowboarding. It so happened that there were different instructors every day, but both were very cool. The guys very accurately... read more explained what I was doing wrong, how to fix it and what I need to work on further in order to get more pleasure from riding. One day we even rode between the tracks, before that there was a small excursion how not to load it on puffy snow. On the second day there was a problem with the rental board on fresh snow, but the instructor got into position, waxed the board and extended the lesson. Thanks to their efforts, I now have no fear of chairs and yoke, as I feel calmer with one leg fastened. And there is something to work on further to improve your technique. I am very glad that I turned to them, in the future I will definitely come to the WinterGudauri school to develop new skills on the board 🙂
