My instructors, Oleksandr and Slava, were both super fun and really knew how to tailor the lessons to my level. I felt like I kept improving every day! When Oleksandr (my original instructor) got injured, he arranged for Slava to step in within half an hour, which I really appreciated—it was so smooth. By the end of my lessons, I was confidently riding red slopes, whereas I’d only managed blues before. Huge progress for me! Honestly, I believe I could get into snowboarding after making fist steps just because of his work with me: my progress was visible and it boosted my motivation. The last season we had together was devoted to free riding and I stand by my above said, with one small addition: he’s not only the greatest teacher, but also an amazing guide. За цей час з максимального 0 на сноуборді ми змогли дійти до рівня, що самостійно з‘їхали... read more з траси до самого низу. Враження неперевершені і з чимось порівняти важко, треба спробувати. Займатись було дуже весело, час проходив непомітно, Саша робив приємну атмосферу і помічав/поправляв всі помилки, тому навчатись було швидко і легко. Ми ніколи не пошкодували, що взяли заняття з тренером, бо бачили людей, що намагались освоїти сноуборд самостійно і нам було шкода на них дивитись. По-перше, нас навчили правильно падати, що зменшило інтенсивність і кількість травм, по-друге, коли розумієш, як працює сноуборд, падаєш менше. Ну і ще Саша нам порадив та знайшов правильний захист, з яким вчитись було набагато легше, бо без нього я б не встала вже на другий день, напевно 😅 Короче, 10/10. Якщо ви новачок, як ми, не робіть собі зайвих проблем і займайтесь з інструктором. Якщо це буде Саша, дуже пощастить 😉 Обов’язково будемо катати далі і візьмемо собі ще кілька занять))

Visited Gudauri in begining of March 2022 and we (I and my wife) contacted Wintergudauri school for assistance in snowboarding as it was first time for my wife and second... read more for me. We had Sasha like snb instructor. Sasha is really good at what he does, he knows all the practice tricks beginner needs to do and he can explain and show them properly. All in all, we ended up practicing with Sasha for 2,5 hours two days in a row and later did the drills which Sasha gave us and soon enough I upgraded my skills and my wife was going properly down the slopes. So thanks to Wintergudauri again and I can recommend this school for anyone who want to learn snowboarding properly.

Минус только 1 - пришлось покупать новую боле жесткую доску, потому что старая мягкая уже не вывезла мои новые навыки 😁 UPD 2025 февраль: В феврале уже с новой доской поехали в Местию, тут то и всё уроки проявили себя в полной силе. Гоняю аж сама с себя в шоке, ручкой снег загребаю. ВОСТОРГ!!!! Спасибо Саше большое 🫶 2023: Каталась с Алексом, очень приятный, позитивный. Всегда слушал, объяснял ошибки. Показывал, как надо, очень сильно мотивировал. При этом следил, когда я уставала и командовал отдых. Когда я сильно испугалась, успокоил, отправил пить глинтвейн и сразу стало не страшно. На последний день был туман и я вообще не видела трассу и куда ехать, и Алекс был как путеводная звезда, только за ним и ехала. Много чему научилась, очень комфортно и позитивно провели время 🙂
