The guys very accurately... read more explained what I was doing wrong, how to fix it and what I need to work on further in order to get more pleasure from riding. One day we even rode between the tracks, before that there was a small excursion how not to load it on puffy snow. On the second day there was a problem with the rental board on fresh snow, but the instructor got into position, waxed the board and extended the lesson. Thanks to their efforts, I now have no fear of chairs and yoke, as I feel calmer with one leg fastened. And there is something to work on further to improve your technique. I am very glad that I turned to them, in the future I will definitely come to the WinterGudauri school to develop new skills on the board 🙂

Took “3 half-days” skiing course with instructor Sergey, had some good progress compering to my first time on the slope. Recommend!

Upd 2024 январь: Спустя 2 года в январе ещё раз взяла 2 занятия. За это время мы успели освоить карвинговые повороты и разгрузку вверх. Минус только 1 - пришлось покупать новую боле жесткую доску, потому что старая мягкая уже не вывезла мои новые навыки 😁 UPD 2025 февраль: В феврале уже с новой доской поехали в Местию, тут то и всё уроки проявили себя в полной силе. Гоняю аж сама с себя в шоке, ручкой снег загребаю. ВОСТОРГ!!!! Спасибо Саше большое 🫶 2023: Каталась с Алексом, очень приятный, позитивный. Всегда слушал, объяснял ошибки. Показывал, как надо, очень сильно мотивировал. При этом следил, когда я уставала и командовал отдых. Когда я сильно испугалась, успокоил, отправил пить глинтвейн и сразу стало не страшно. На последний день был туман и я вообще не видела трассу и куда ехать, и Алекс был как путеводная звезда, только за ним и ехала. Много чему научилась, очень комфортно и позитивно провели время 🙂

Rode with Winter Gudauri on many occasions, on groomers, park, backcountry as well as splitboarding… Very effective way of fine tuning some techniques and approaches. We went for a spin in a park and he provided analytics on body positioning and control at all times, that worked like magic. Made it farther, deeper, higher in backcountry and splitboarding with Winter Gudauri. Overall great approach to improving your riding skills and experience including post body rehab resulting in a better performance and body control while doing anything on a snowboard.

Дуже сильно рекомендую Winter Gudauri. Ми з чоловіком займались з інструктором Сашею 5 днів. За цей час з максимального 0 на сноуборді ми змогли дійти до рівня, що самостійно з‘їхали... read more з траси до самого низу. Враження неперевершені і з чимось порівняти важко, треба спробувати. Займатись було дуже весело, час проходив непомітно, Саша робив приємну атмосферу і помічав/поправляв всі помилки, тому навчатись було швидко і легко. Ми ніколи не пошкодували, що взяли заняття з тренером, бо бачили людей, що намагались освоїти сноуборд самостійно і нам було шкода на них дивитись. По-перше, нас навчили правильно падати, що зменшило інтенсивність і кількість травм, по-друге, коли розумієш, як працює сноуборд, падаєш менше. Ну і ще Саша нам порадив та знайшов правильний захист, з яким вчитись було набагато легше, бо без нього я б не встала вже на другий день, напевно 😅 Короче, 10/10. Якщо ви новачок, як ми, не робіть собі зайвих проблем і займайтесь з інструктором. Якщо це буде Саша, дуже пощастить 😉 Обов’язково будемо катати далі і візьмемо собі ще кілька занять))

Also! We had a large company, everyone took an instructor somewhere, so there was an opportunity to compare with other schools, and I will say - this is heaven and earth. At another school where my friends took classes, instructor was rude and repeated the same information even when they already said that they know it and spoke only with terms.

So I was lucky that we actually immediately started with the practice)

My instructors, Oleksandr and Slava, were both super fun and really knew how to tailor the lessons to my level. I felt like I kept improving every day! When Oleksandr (my original instructor) got injured, he arranged for Slava to step in within half an hour, which I really appreciated—it was so smooth. By the end of my lessons, I was confidently riding red slopes, whereas I’d only managed blues before. Huge progress for me! Занимались с Сашей в этом году в группе из 3х человек (полные новички), даже с учетом того что в Гудаури снег есть только на одном склоне в данный момент Саша... read more сумел дать нам за 3 урока очень хорошую базу и после мы уже самостоятельно без особых проблем ее отрабатывали. Постоянная помощь, и внимание каждому ученику сделала свое дело. Это что касается обучения. Что касается самого преподавателя (Саша Туменок) с первых минут встречи он нас очень выручил, так как мы забыли документы в номере и не могли взять в аренду снаряжение, он взял все под свою ответственность чем очень помог. Расслабленная дружеская атмосфера в купе с невероятным профессионализм делала уроки незабываемыми. Поэтому обязательно возьмем доп занятия еще в феврале когда снег ляжет. Рассказывать еще можно много чего, но если подитожить то это 10 из 10! Ps 04.02.23 Как снег выпал, сгонял еще раз с сашей, просто супер круто покатались, брал опять 3 урока, желание после только продолжать катать.
